Yes. When you purchase a vaulted item on Drip, you are not limited to keeping it in your vault or redeeming it for shipping. You also have the ability to relist the item in the Marketplace so that other buyers can purchase it. This gives you flexibility to use vaulted inventory as tradable and sellable assets directly on the platform.
What “Relisting” Means
Relisting refers to taking an item you own in your vault and creating a new product listing in the Marketplace.
When you relist, the item is still securely stored in Drip’s vault, but it is visible to other buyers and can be purchased without needing you to handle shipping or fulfillment.
Ownership of the item only transfers if another buyer completes the checkout process or if you accept an offer. Until then, the item remains in your vault.
Available Listing Formats
When you choose to relist a vaulted item, you can set it up in several formats:
Buy Now
You assign a fixed price, and another buyer can purchase instantly at that amount.
Once sold, the item moves out of your vault and into the buyer’s vault automatically.
Auction
You create a timed auction, allowing multiple buyers to place competing bids.
At the end of the auction, the highest bidder wins, and the item transfers to their vault.
Giveaway
You can offer the item as a free prize to promote engagement or reward your community.
Once completed, the item transfers from your vault to the winner’s vault.
Restrictions on Relisting
In-stream sales are not allowed. Vaulted items cannot be listed directly in a live show unless you are an approved seller with hosting permissions. For regular buyers, relisting is limited to the Marketplace.
Vault-only listings. Relisting is only possible for items already vaulted. If you redeemed the item for shipping, it is no longer in the vault and cannot be relisted until physically returned and re-vaulted.
Active state requirement. Vaulted items are always shown in some form of active state (for example: Taking Offers, Buy Now, or Auction). They cannot be hidden entirely once relisted.
What Happens After a Sale
When another buyer purchases your relisted item, ownership is transferred instantly in the vault system.
You do not need to ship the item yourself; the vault system handles storage and fulfillment.
The item disappears from your vault and reappears in the buyer’s vault, just like any other vaulted purchase.
If you attempt to relist a vaulted item but do not see the available formats, or if the item does not update after listing, you can reach out to Drip Support for assistance.
