Vaulting is a feature that allows you to keep your purchases safely stored inside your Drip account instead of having them shipped right away. When you buy an item and choose to vault it, that item goes directly into your Drip Vault, where it can be managed digitally. This gives you more control over how you collect, trade, or resell items without having to wait for shipping every time.
How Vaulting Works
Instant storage after purchase: As soon as you complete checkout on a vaulted item, it is transferred directly to your Vault. You will see it in your account almost immediately along with a notification confirming the transfer.
Stored under your account: Vaulted items are tied to your profile, which means only you can view, manage, trade, or redeem them.
No shipping until you request it: Instead of shipping automatically, vaulted items remain safely in your account until you decide to redeem them for delivery.
Why Buyers Use Vaulting
Convenience: Frequent buyers can avoid multiple shipping charges by vaulting items and requesting delivery later in bulk.
Flexibility: Vaulted items can be listed for sale again, set to “Taking Offers,” or traded directly on Drip without leaving the platform.
Security: Items remain protected in Drip’s system until you are ready to receive them physically.
What You Can Do with Vaulted Items
Relist them for sale: Vaulted items can be listed again as Buy Now, Auction, or Giveaway directly from your account.
Set them to Taking Offers: You can allow other buyers to make offers on your vaulted inventory.
Trade instantly: Vaulted items can be swapped with other vaulted items or combined with cash in a bulk offer, and the transfer happens instantly.
Redeem for shipping: At any time, you can select items from your Vault and have them shipped to your address. Shipping and taxes will apply when you redeem.
Important to Know
Vaulted items always remain visible in a state such as “Listed” or “Taking Offers.” They cannot be completely hidden or unlisted.
Vaulting only applies after checkout. Adding an item to your cart does not vault it — the item must be purchased first.
Once an item is redeemed for shipping, it leaves your Vault and cannot be used for trading, offers, or resale on Drip.
