How to Deactivate or Permanently Delete Your Drip Account

If you no longer wish to use Drip, you have the option to either deactivate your account or request a permanent data wipe. This guide explains the difference between these two actions and how to complete each one.

Option 1: Deactivate Your Account (Immediate)

Deactivating your account will immediately disable access to your seller or buyer profile. You will no longer appear in searches, receive notifications, or be able to stream, sell, or make purchases on the platform.

How to deactivate your account:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of any Drip page.

  2. In the dropdown menu, scroll to the bottom and click “Delete Account.”

  3. Confirm the prompt when asked.

This action removes your ability to log in or use Drip, but your data may still be stored securely on our systems for compliance and recordkeeping purposes.

Option 2: Permanently Delete Your Data (Manual Review)

If you wish to have your data permanently wiped from Drip — including sales history, shipping details, connected accounts, and order records — you must submit a formal request.

This process is not automated and requires manual review by our team to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., tax and transaction record retention).

To request a full account deletion:

  • Reach out to Drip Support via in-app chat or email

  • Clearly request a “full account and data wipe”

  • Include your name, username, and the email address associated with your account

Our team will review your request and begin the deletion process. Please note that:

  • Account wipes typically take a few business days to complete

  • Some limited data may be retained as required by law (e.g., for tax reporting or fraud prevention)

Important Notes

  • If you’re a seller with pending payouts, we recommend waiting until your funds are fully disbursed before deactivation or deletion.

  • Deactivating your account does not automatically cancel pending shipments or refund orders — make sure to fulfill all responsibilities before leaving the platform.

  • Deleting your account is final. Once your data has been wiped, it cannot be recovered.
