Carts work differently depending on whether you are shopping in the Marketplace or during a live show. Understanding these differences will help you know when to use your cart and when purchases go directly to checkout.
Using Carts in the Marketplace
In the Marketplace, items are listed with a Buy Now option. These listings can be added to your cart so you can continue browsing and collect multiple items before checking out.
Add to Cart option: Each Marketplace listing has an “Add to Cart” button. Clicking this will place the item in your cart under the seller’s name.
Multiple items per seller: You can add several items from the same seller into one cart. When you are ready, you can checkout all of them in a single transaction.
Separate carts for different sellers: If you shop from multiple sellers, each seller’s items will appear in their own cart. You must checkout each cart separately.
This system allows you to organize purchases and avoid checking out one item at a time when buying from the Marketplace.
Using Carts in Upcoming Streams
If a seller lists products before a stream begins, those items can also be added to your cart.
Pre-stream items: On the Upcoming Stream page, you will see the “Add to Cart” option for items listed ahead of time.
Items held in your cart: These items remain in your cart until you checkout or remove them, even before the show goes live.
Purchase when ready: You can checkout these items directly from your cart or wait until the stream begins to see more from the seller.
This helps buyers prepare in advance and secure items before the live sale starts.
Buying in Live Shows
During a live show, items are not added to your cart. Instead, purchases are handled instantly through the Shop Now button.
Shop Now option: When you see an item for sale during a live show, you can click “Shop Now” to checkout immediately.
No cart storage during shows: Items bought in a live stream are processed instantly. They do not go into your cart, and you cannot hold them for later.
Fast checkout design: This setup ensures that buyers can secure live show items quickly, since many are limited and sell out fast.
Key Differences
Marketplace and upcoming streams allow you to add items to your cart and checkout later.
Live shows require you to use Shop Now and checkout immediately, without using the cart.
