The Buyback feature gives you the power to offer your buyers the option to sell back an item after purchase. This gives your customers more flexibility, builds trust, and helps you increase engagement and repeat purchases during your live streams.
✅ Buybacks are now available on all products — not just Instant Packs!
You can offer a buyback on any product sold during your live stream, including:
Auctions
Duck races
Single product drops
And more!
🚫 Ripped = No Buyback by Default
If you mark an item as “Ripped,” it automatically becomes ineligible for a buyback. However, you can manually override this if you still want to offer one.
When Should You Use Buybacks?
When a buyer pulls an item and changes their mind.
When you want to encourage someone to repull or buy more during the stream.
When you want to offer a flexible, return-like experience without processing a full refund.
Buybacks help you create a smoother, more interactive shopping experience while keeping control over your orders.
How to Offer a Buyback
Go to the Orders Tab
While you're live, open your Orders tab in the stream panel.Find the Item

✅ Once you confirm, the buyer will receive a notification. (Notifications are currently on web and will be available on mobile soon.) The buyer can then choose to accept or decline the offer.
📸 Example from the stream panel:
What Does the Buyer See?
The buyer will see a buyback prompt in their order history.
If they accept, the item will be returned, and the buyback amount will be deducted from your payout.
You will see the refund amount reflected under “Buyback Amount” in the order summary.
Can You Edit or Cancel a Buyback Offer?
Yes — if you make a mistake, you’re covered.
Edit the offer before the buyer accepts it.
Cancel the offer entirely if it was issued in error.
What Happens When an Item Is Marked as “Ripped”?
When you mark an item as “Ripped,” it disables the buyback option by default.
This helps avoid confusion, especially for items that have been opened live during your stream. However, if you still want to offer a buyback, you can manually override this default setting and create an offer.
How Buybacks Help Manage Shipments
Buybacks give you better control over your shipping queue by reducing unnecessary shipments for items that buyers no longer want. It’s an effective way to clean up your orders and prevent wasted fulfillment.
Pro Tips for Sellers
Use Buybacks strategically. Encourage repeat participation in streams, like duck races or mid-stream pulls.
Communicate clearly. Let buyers know when an item is final sale, especially after ripping.
