If you don’t win the auction, the $10 pre-authorization hold placed on your payment method is automatically released. This means the reserved amount is no longer held and becomes available in your account again.

Here’s how it works:

  • As soon as the auction ends and you are not the winning bidder, the system processes the release of the hold.

  • The release timeframe depends on your bank or card issuer. Most financial institutions process the release within 1–3 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days in some cases.

Rest assured, the $10 hold is not a charge, so if you don’t win, no money will be deducted from your account. If you experience any delays in the hold being released, we recommend contacting your bank or card issuer for further assistance.
