If your funds are on hold after completing a sale on Drip, it’s important to understand the potential reasons behind the delay. Payouts may be held due to various factors, including order issues, disputes, or eligibility requirements.

Common Reasons for Funds Being on Hold:

  1. Pending Order Delivery:
One of the most common reasons funds are on hold is that the order has not yet been delivered to the buyer. Drip releases funds for withdrawal 48 hours after the delivery is confirmed. If the delivery is still in progress or hasn’t been verified, your funds will remain on hold until this step is completed.

  2. Early Payout Eligibility:
If you’re expecting Early Payout but don’t have access to it, it’s possible that you no longer meet the eligibility requirements. Early Payout is based on meeting specific criteria such as sales volume, ratings, and platform activity. If you have dropped below these standards or violated community guidelines, Early Payout may be temporarily revoked.

  3. Unverified Stripe Account:
Your funds could also be on hold if your bank account is not fully connected or verified through Stripe. You must complete the verification process with Stripe to receive payouts. Make sure all necessary bank account details have been entered correctly, and follow any steps Stripe requires to finalize the setup.

  4. Violation of Drip’s Community Guidelines:
If your account is flagged for violating Drip’s community guidelines, your funds may be placed on hold while the matter is investigated. In such cases, you’ll need to address the violation or submit an appeal to regain access to your funds.

Resolving Payout Holds:

  • Check Delivery Status: Ensure that the order has been delivered and confirmed by the buyer. You can track this through your seller hub

  • Verify Your Stripe Account: Make sure your Stripe account is fully set up and verified to avoid unnecessary delays.

  • Appeal or Requalify: If your Early Payout access has been revoked or your funds are held due to a guideline violation, follow the necessary steps to appeal or meet the required criteria again.
