How to Set Up and Connect Your Phantom Wallet

Overview

Your Phantom Wallet is how you securely store, view, and manage your Solana-based items.
Think of it like your personal crypto bank account — except you hold the keys.

Connecting Phantom to Drip Shop Live lets you buy, trade, and redeem Solana-minted items directly through your Drip account.

Setting up and connecting takes just a few minutes.


🪜 Step 1: Download Phantom

You can use Phantom on both desktop and mobile.

Desktop (recommended for Drip web):

  • Choose your browser extension (Chrome, Brave, Firefox, or Edge).

  • Follow the install instructions.

Mobile:

  • Download Phantom from the iOS App Store or Google Play.

  • Follow the in-app prompts to finish setup.


🪜 Step 2: Create or Log Into Your Phantom Wallet

Once Phantom opens, you’ll have two options:

🆕 Start a New Wallet

  1. Click “Create a new wallet.”

  2. Write down your secret recovery phrase (12 words).

    • This phrase gives full access to your wallet.

    • Store it offline and privately — never in screenshots, notes apps, or cloud storage.

  3. Set a strong password for quick local access.

  4. You’re all set — your new wallet is ready to use!

🔑 Log Into an Existing Wallet

  1. Click “I already have a wallet.”

  2. Enter your 12-word recovery phrase exactly as created.

  3. Set a new local password (this affects only this device).

  4. Your Solana balance and collectibles will appear automatically.

Pro Tip: Never share your recovery phrase with anyone — not even Drip or Phantom support. It’s the only way to access your wallet if you lose your device.


🪜 Step 3: Connect Your Wallet to Drip Shop Live


  1. Go to dripshop.live and click Log In / Register.

  2. Select Connect Wallet.

  3. A Phantom pop-up will appear asking you to approve the connection.

  4. Click Connect to authorize Drip Shop Live.

  5. You’ll see a success message once your wallet is linked.

After connecting, Drip recognizes your wallet automatically for minting, redemptions, and buybacks — no extra setup required.


🪜 Step 4: Add Funds (Optional)

You can fund your wallet in several ways:

  • Exchange transfer (e.g., Coinbase → Phantom)

  • Credit/debit purchase inside Phantom

  • Drip’s Stripe crypto checkout (you can pay at checkout even without pre-funding Phantom)


🧩 Troubleshooting

Issue

Solution

“Wrong Network” error

Ensure Phantom is on Solana Mainnet Beta.

Wallet won’t connect

Disconnect Phantom, clear your browser cache, then reconnect.

Phantom pop-up doesn’t appear

Disable pop-up blockers or manually open the Phantom extension.

Lost recovery phrase

No one —including Drip—can recover it. Create a new wallet and reconnect.


⚠️ Important Notes

  • Drip never has access to your private keys or recovery phrase.

  • Keep your wallet connected only to trusted sites.

  • You can disconnect Phantom anytime in your wallet’s Settings → Connected Apps.
