A 1099-K form is an informational tax form used by the IRS to report payments you’ve received for goods and services. The form is typically issued by third-party payment processors, like PayPal, that handle money transfers for your sales. The 1099-K reports your total earnings from payments made through these services over the course of a calendar year, helping you and the IRS track your income.

Drip does not directly issue 1099-K forms to sellers because Drip uses PayPal to process your payouts. PayPal is responsible for handling the financial transactions between you and your buyers, meaning they’re the entity that must issue the 1099-K form to report your income, not Drip.
